Israeli embassy in in Washington posts Islamophobic image

The Israeli embassy in Washington has posted an Islamophobic image on its Twitter account this morning.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Israeli embassy in the U.S. capital, Washington, posted a controversial image on Twitter this morning. The picture shows Iranians burning American flags while marking the ransack of the U.S. embassy during the Iranian revolution in 1979, with the title 'imagine them with the bomb.'

The image, clearly a propaganda tool designed to stir emotions and raise objections to the Iranian nuclear program, was a typical Islamophobic image repetitively shown by Zionist media sources in the West.

The context is the US-Iranian rapprochement and diplomacy that has enraged Israel and its regional allies including Saudi Arabia. Having failed to win the argument that the US should go to war against Iran over its nuclear energy program, the Israelis are turning to even cruder, more emotive propaganda than usual.

Israel has been the biggest critic of recent U.S.-Iranian negotiations over the uranium enrichment program that has been initiated by President Barack Obama and his counterpart Hassan Rouhani.
